Accounting Specialist

Join a dynamic company with deep roots in Portland’s vibrant restaurant scene! CV Resources is seeking a temporary Accounting Specialist to manage all aspects of accounts payable, alongside other accounting tasks, supporting our client’s rapidly growing business. This role is hybrid in SE Portland, and has the potential to convert to permanent! As the sole AP processor for the organization, you will play a vital role, working closely with leadership and collaborating across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle accounts payable, including processing invoices, managing payments, and vendor relations.
• Ensure timely and accurate bill payments for vendors.
• Handle reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and maintain detailed financial records.
• Support month-end close activities and general ledger maintenance.
• Assist with financial reporting and other accounting duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus.
