Description:You will be the Administrative Assistant Specialist, responsible for providing administrative assistant support to the Vice President of Human Resources for Missiles and Fire Control.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Administrative Assistant Specialist, you will utilize a self-directed work style to complete tasks with minimal supervision, as well as creatively solve problems, think independently, and present a professional image. Absolute discretion with sensitive materials is also a primary responsibility.
In this role, you will utilize a range of HR systems and tools to provide administrative support for various HR processes. This includes:
• Locating, integrating and consolidating sensitive information from multiple sources
• Ensuring accuracy of data
• Filing electronic documents efficiently
• Preparing chart decks, reporting, and analyzing data to identify trends for focused attention
You will be responsible for preparing correspondence, meeting/calendar scheduling and management, travel planning/expense reporting, phone coverage, ordering supplies, etc.
In this role, you will interface with corporate executive administrative assistants on a frequent basis. You must possess the ability to interact with all levels of management as well as external customers.

Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of recent and demonstrated extensive experience providing administrative assistant support to executive-level clients
Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office 2013 suite of applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Desired Skills:
Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Ability to multi-task and effectively balance priorities
Effective verbal, written, analytical and organization skills
Attention to detail
Team player who is proactive and collaborative
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data
Demonstrated ability to act with diplomacy and discretion with customers, colleagues, and superiors
Demonstrated proficiency in preparing reports, documents and presentations for executives
Prior experience supporting at the Vice President level

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
