What you will do:
As a member of the LAIC team, you will support the Applied AI team and product portfolio, focusing on a broad range of projects across the LAIC. Your primary responsibilities will include:
•Developing technologies and products that leverage Artificial Intelligence to provide discriminating capability to our customers.
•Engaging in every phase of the system development lifecycle, including requirements generation, system and software design, implementation, integration, and flight test.
•Potential to mentor junior engineers and assume technical lead responsibilities, further expanding your leadership skills.
•Participating in low TRL research, proof of concepts, development of prototypes, building demonstrators, and transition to production.
•Applying AI paradigms to solve complex problems and field innovative solutions.
•Collaborating with team members, stakeholders, and customers to ensure successful project outcomes.
•Self-motivation, strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills.

•An active US DoD security clearance.US Citizenship is required.

The candidate will be based in Moorestown, NJ.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline
• Experience developing with machine learning frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow, MxNet, Caffe, Keras, etc.)
• Experience with Python and multiple libraries (NumPy, OpenCV, Scikit, Pandas, SciPy, etc.)
• Experience with large dataset analysis and visualization



• Must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
• Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence
• Experience with Linux application development
• Experience with DevOps tools: Docker, Git [GitLab, GitHub], Continuous Integration [CI], Continuous Deployment [CD], unit testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Unittest)
• Experience with modern Computer Vision
• Experience with training deep neural networks and other AI algorithms
• Experience with C++, Java, and other compiled languages
• Experience with RF signal processing
• Experience with analog and digital signal processing
• Experience working on radar systems, antennas, and arrays
• Familiarity with high-performance computing
• Familiarity with network/messaging (UDP, ZeroMQ, RESTful API, etc.)
• Familiarity interfacing with databases (SQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Familiarity with software defined radios
• Active US DoD security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
