Licensed Pharmacist

This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation; performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Also involves some risk of back injury from moving, lifting or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job; and exposure to blood-borne or airborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, burns, and combative/violent people.

Shift to be a 7 on/7 off salaried position working a mid-shift 1030am-9pm weekdays/8am-6pm weekend shifts. Weekends are part of the rotation and may assist with coverage of holidays in locations open on holidays which may affect shift days

Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians. Reviews and interprets prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and ensures that drug interactions are evaluated. Position supports all patients who wish to utilize the services of the new location. Position supports and provides assistance with the documentation, filling of prescriptions, financial assistance with acquisition of medications, billing and dispensing of the medications to all patients including delivery to clinic room.

PharmD and ambulatory/retail pharmacy experience preferred.
