Royal Caribbean Group’s Silversea Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Analyst, Deployment and Itinerary Planning on the Destination Development Team reporting to the Senior Director, Deployment.


This position will work onsite in Miami, Florida

Position Summary:


Deployment and Itinerary Planning is responsible for strategic analysis, development, optimization and implementation of Silversea’s unique portfolio of cruise products.

This team interacts with a wide range of external and internal partners and stakeholders. As a member of this dynamic team, you would develop day-by-day itineraries for several regions of Silversea’s deployment product offering. The four core responsibilities of this role include:



1. Writing all day-by-day itineraries for selected regions.


2. Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure berthing is available and subsequently secured.



3. Facilitating the communication of changes to existing itineraries.


4. Managing Open Deployment and Itinerary Modifications.


This role is a great opportunity for a proactive, reliable and very detail-oriented individual with very strong and professional communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop all day-by-day itineraries for selected regions for Silversea Cruises.

  • Assist in the operational review of all new deployments with key stakeholders. Key stakeholders include, but is not limited to, representatives from Explorations, Marine, Supply Chain, Fuel, Global Security, Tax, Guest Port Services and Shipboard Executive Committee.

  • Manage open deployment and implement modifications as required. Maintain list of outstanding issues, implement and communicate itinerary changes, and update reservation system and Itinerary sheets to reflect any changes.

  • Support Charter Sales and Deployment Strategy teams to review, vet and implement charters. Constant communication will take place between charter sales and other internal departments. Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Public Relations to proof itinerary content of collateral.

  • Coordinate with Port Operations for berthing, itinerary loading and itinerary modifications.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or (B.A.) from a four-year college or university is preferred.

  • Shipping/cruise industry knowledge and experience communicating with international business contacts is desired but not required.

  • AS400 knowledge is preferred.

  • Specific physical and/or cognitive requirements that are essential parts of the job (lifting, standing for extended periods of time, attention to detail, hearing, carrying, moving, pushing/pulling, climbing, etc.), should be described clearly and precisely.

  • Outstanding attention to detail is absolutely required.

  • Outstanding organizational skills.

  • Pro-active mindset and attitude.

  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills and overall communication skills.

  • Must be able to craft a professional email for correspondence with ports.

  • Strong excel skills
