Seeking a residential Maintenance Technician and Porter/Groundskeeper for a luxury apartment community in Scottsdale.

Maintenance Technician Duties:

· Make Ready/Turning apartments

· Repair and maintaining the grounds and pools

· Indoor Plumbing (shower heads, leaks, toilets)

· Electrical (ceiling fans, wall sockets, garbage disposals, etc.)

· Drywall repairs & texture-matching

· Basic Painting & Carpentry

· Appliance repair and removal/installation

· Preventative maintenance

Maintenance Technician Qualifiers:

· Minimum 6 months onsite apartment maintenance work experience or related (i.e. hotel, home renovations/remodeling, commercial, etc.)

· Availability for a Monday-Friday position with an immediate start date

· HVAC/CPO Certification and knowledge is not required, but always a plus

· Own set of personal hand tools & power drill

Job Duties for Porter/Groundskeeper:

• Maintain curb appeal for apartment community
• Light painting, from small touch-ups in the hallway to full unit repaint
• Trash pickup
• Power washing exterior of building, spraying down the pool deck
• Basic pool cleaning/skimming, alignment and cleaning of pool furniture/pool area
• Basic janitorial duties – inside and outside
• Replace light bulbs along pathways and parking areas
• Cleaning and removing trash from vacant apartments (trash outs)
• Delivering notices to residents' doors per the Community Manager's directive
• Assisting with other needs the property requests per the Maintenance Supervisor
• MUST be comfortable working outside for majority of the 8 hour work day

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 hour shifts with a lunch break. Must have reliable transportation and be able to show up to work on time every day. We provide a daily public transportation subsidy (reimbursement up to $5/day) along with a competitive hourly pay rate. Weekly pay.
