Job Summary

Michigan Medicine Health Information Technology and Services (HITS) is seeking a qualified individual to join their Complex Device Integration & Audio Video Service Team. This position primarily will support day to day operation of Enterprise monitoring and logging tools and also be responsible for maintaining operations of Enterprise connected device inventory. You will also be creating and distributing periodic reports needed by the Senior Management of HITS.

Responsibilities*


  • Perform operational aspects of Enterprise Inventory management process
  • Manage and maintain Nagios and Splunk infrastructure
  • Collaborate with Managers/Service Providers and customers to evaluate and manage and monitor connected Devices and implementation efforts within Michigan Medicine
  • Co-ordinate monitoring of complex devices/systems
  • Participate in the development of disaster recovery procedures/tools.
  • Participate in the Unified Device Evaluation Workgroup (UDEW)
  • Manage SharePoint site for the UDEW
  • Produce UDEW and Monthly inventory report
  • Broker ServiceNow incidents/problems/Vulnerability items for the team
  • Assist and maintain and update ServiceNow knowledge base
  • Conduct meetings, develop agendas and presentations, capture meeting minutes

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years systems analysis/programming activities in a business environment

Desired Qualifications*


  • Demonstrated understanding needed to support an enterprise Nagios and Splunk environment
  • Ability to understand and support connected medical and complex devices and systems
  • Broad Knowledge of Security and Infrastructure Technologies
  • Working knowledge of Tableau and other reporting tools
  • Ability to use productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), A/V tools(Zoom, Teams)
  • Basic knowledge of ServiceNow platform
  • Have sound analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills.


Work Locations

This position is being offered as a Hybrid position. There will be times that it will be appropriate for you to work from home. There will be other times that you will be required to work onsite for meetings, and project work. This position will be 80% remote work. May require working during non-business hours and on weekends.



On-Call rotation is required for this position.
