THE ROLE:

As Assistant Executive Housekeeper at Park Hyatt Chicago, you will be instrumental in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department. Working closely with the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping leadership team, you will help ensure the highest level of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel.

Your responsibilities will include supervising and guiding a dedicated team of room attendants, housepersons, and public area attendants. You’ll oversee daily room inspections, monitor inventory and supplies, and assist in managing departmental schedules. Additionally, you will support the onboarding, training, and continued development of team members, ensuring each colleague upholds our brand’s standards of excellence.



This role also involves collaborating with other departments-including Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry-to ensure seamless communication and smooth operations. Whether preparing for high-profile guests or managing back-of-house logistics, your leadership will ensure every space reflects the elevated standards of Park Hyatt.

SALARY INFORMATION:


The salary for this position ranges from $51,600 to $61,800. This range reflects the competitive compensation expected at Park Hyatt Chicago. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-3 years of progressive experience in hotel housekeeping or rooms division management, ideally within a luxury or Forbes-rated property.
  • Education: Degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management is preferred.
  • Service-Oriented: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
  • Luxury Standards: Familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide standards and a deep commitment to upholding the highest levels of cleanliness, service, and presentation.
  • Leadership: High-energy, motivational leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of developing strong, engaged teams.
  • Communication: Refined verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with guests and colleagues.
  • Customer Experience: Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding guest service with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong emotional intelligence and a team-oriented mindset.
