How can you make an impact?
As the Associate Academic Designer, you will edit existing Advanced Placement and Electives Math content to match various states and school district standards. You will be on a team of academic designers who specialize in all aspects of print and digital content development.
This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. This is a Project Status Worker (PSW) role with an end date of 12/31/2025.
What you will be doing:
- Working with a cross functional team to develop a customized version of McGraw Hill’s precalculus program for Texas.
- Editing print and digital materials for use in Texas classrooms.
- You will be working on Instructional Materials for Texas Pre-Calculus.
- Producing accurate, error-free, high-quality products that assess program goals, align with curriculum standards, measure student growth, and recommend instructional options.
- Providing feedback to the work of colleagues and vendors.
- Problem solving – identifying risks related to an assignment and ensuring they are solved, including suggestions to improve processes.
We are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or related field.
- Experience with high school and advanced placement math curriculum.
- Exceptional grammar and writing skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Educational publishing experience a plus but not required.

The pay range for this position is between $41,225-$58,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
