Join Our Team as a Bartender at The Duck & The Peach!
At The Duck & The Peach, we create delicious experiences through thoughtful hospitality. Located in the heart of Capitol Hill, we’re a New American restaurant that takes pride in offering thoughtfully crafted cocktails, an exceptional beverage program, and warm, inviting service. We’re seeking Bartenders with craft cocktail experience and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
What We’re Looking For:
Our bartenders are more than drink-makers—they’re hospitality professionals who elevate the dining experience through creativity, care, and expertise. Here’s what we need from you:
- Craft cocktail experience with a focus on precision, consistency, and innovation.
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktail ingredients, including the ability to make thoughtful recommendations to guests.
- A guest-focused approach, with a passion for creating welcoming, memorable moments.
- Experience in a high-volume, fine dining or upscale environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-player attitude.
- Dependability, professionalism, and a desire to grow within the industry.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare craft and classic cocktails with care and consistency.
- Share your beverage expertise with guests, guiding them through our cocktail, wine, and spirits offerings.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar and ensure a seamless flow of service.
- Collaborate with the service team to provide an exceptional guest experience.
- Take pride in your craft and work to continually refine your skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
At The Duck & The Peach, we recognize the value our bartenders bring to the team. We offer:
- $21/hour base pay plus 8% commission on sales.
- An additional liquor commission to reward your contribution to our bar program.
- Dining Discounts at all Eastern Point Collective restaurants.
- A supportive and professional environment where you can thrive.
Schedule:
- We are open Tuesday through Saturday, and bartenders must be available for dinner service and occasional weekend brunch.
