We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Beverage Manager to lead our wine and bar programs while managing our talented team of bartenders!


Required Qualities

  • Passion & Knowledge: Expertise in wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages, with a passion for hospitality and delivering a cohesive beverage experience.
  • Proven Experience: 3-5 years in a leadership role in beverage management, sommelier, or bar program oversight within fine dining or Michelin-starred environments.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong team-building skills to lead, train, and inspire bartenders, sommeliers, and the service team.
  • Creativity: Ability to develop innovative cocktail menus, non-alcoholic pairings, and wine selections that enhance the culinary experience.
  • Excellent Communication: Skilled in engaging with guests, staff, and vendors, both verbally and in writing.
  • Detail-Oriented: Organized and precise in managing beverage menus, inventory, and cost control.
  • Certifications: Advanced certifications in wine (e.g., CMS, WSET) and/or mixology preferred but not required.

Responsibilities


  • Beverage Program Development: Oversee and curate an exceptional beverage program, including an extensive wine list, seasonal cocktail menus, and non-alcoholic pairings, aligning all offerings with the tasting menu and guest experience.
  • Wine Pairings & Cocktail Pairings: Collaborate with the chef and culinary team to design thoughtful pairings for the tasting menu, including wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the bar team and sommeliers, ensuring collaboration, performance, and consistent delivery of exceptional service.
  • Inventory & Cost Management: Maintain inventory, establish vendor relationships, track trends, and optimize cost control across all beverage categories.
  • Guest Engagement: Interact with guests, recommend pairings, and ensure a personalized and memorable beverage experience that reflects Michelin-level service standards.
  • Training & Education: Provide regular training sessions for staff, fostering a deep understanding of wine, spirits, and cocktails to elevate service quality.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with all state laws, health and safety standards, and uphold service standards befitting a Michelin-starred restaurant.
