Budget Technician – 8hrs (Fiscal Services/PC#250165)

Position Summary:


Prepares accurate and timely budget reports and provides technical assistance to departments, school sites, and programs to ensure correct application and allocation of accounting transactions. Provides assistance to the budget development process with historical data compilations.

Work Year: 12 months per year
Employee Type: Full-Time
Salary: $29.05 – $38.41 per hour in 9 annual steps.

Salary is based on experience.
Location: Fiscal Services
Hours: 8 hours/day; 5 days/week
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Employee Life Insurance available for employees who work 4+ hours per day (Full district contribution for 6+ hours/day; 50% contribution for 4-5.99 hours/day).

Experience and Education
The position typically requires two years of post-secondary education in accounting plus two years of relevant and progressively responsible experience in governmental accounting or budgeting that includes monitoring of restricted funds.


Licenses and Certifications
May require a valid driver’s license.
