Your New Role

As a Business Development Professional, in Salem, OR, you’ll play a key role in driving sales, expanding market reach, and managing customer relationships. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth


  • Managing quotes, orders, and projects, ensuring smooth execution and client satisfaction

  • Acting as the main liaison between customers and internal teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Project Management


  • Analyzing customer requirements, developing strategies, and optimizing marketing efforts

  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely project completion


  • Addressing customer inquiries, providing solutions, and maintaining long-term partnerships

  • Traveling up to 30% to meet with clients, attend conferences, and provide on-site support

  • Education: Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred


  • Experience: 3-5 years of B2B sales, preferably in the telecom, utility, construction and manufacturing industry

  • Experience in complex sales environment is required – Retail, kiosk, or consumer sales experience alone does not meet this requirement


  • Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, consultative selling style

  • Ability to analyze RFQs, specifications, and engineering drawings


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce or NetSuite (preferred)

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities


  • Background with civil engineering projects is a plus

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed
