Job Summary


Key Details:

Primary Responsibilities: Customer service, cashiering, and maintaining cafeteria cleanliness.

Patient Care Required? No


Essential Responsibilities:

Attend department meetings, in-services, and training sessions.
Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs.
Stock and replenish cafeteria items, including coffee, paper goods, cooler items, salad bar, and snack racks.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, servery, and tray return areas.
Handle catering orders and break down used catering carts.
Operate the cash register, process transactions, and follow cash handling procedures.
Cash out register, prepare deposits, and set up the opening bank for the next shift.
Follow HACCP and cash handling standards.
Notify the supervisor of any concerns, discrepancies, or product shortages.
Support department goals to enhance retail satisfaction and customer experience.



Qualifications



Education High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes Licenses and Credentials Experience Prior cashier and customer service experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – Staff adheres to all I C.A.R.E. Standards. – Must be able to read menu items in English. – Must be able to communicate in English with customers. – Must have basic arithmetic skills: ability to count cash, make change, add/subtract. – Must be able to use a calculator. – Independent judgment required. – Must be able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
