Join our team at Cactus Jacks Recon in Tucson, AZ as a Certified Automotive Technician. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who excels in automotive diagnostics and complex repairs. This role is crucial in delivering the highest level of service and quality to our customers, ensuring safety and reliability on the road. Able to work on your own and sometimes with another technician.

Certified Automotive Technician Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance services.
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components and ensure conformance to emission standards.
• Interpret and follow technical diagrams and manuals.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians, providing advice and demonstrating advanced repair techniques.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repair status, concerns, and recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work environment.
• Creating work orders and using the computer occasionally

Requirements:

• ASE Certification
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in advanced automotive repair.
• Strong understanding of automotive technology and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 – $72,800.00 per year
