Summary

As the Chief Engineer at Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center, you will lead the engineering team to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all hotel facilities. This role is vital in delivering high-quality guest experiences while upholding Hyatt’s commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all engineering operations and maintenance activities within the hotel.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of all equipment.
• Manage engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and standards related to high voltage systems and mechanical operations.
• Provide leadership, training, and support to engineering staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement or repair needs.

Prepare reports on maintenance activities, project progress, and budgetary consideration

Qualifications

• • Proven experience in facilities management or engineering within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking maintenance tasks.
  • Effective communication skills in English for collaboration across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  
  

  Experience with high voltage systems is a plus but not mandatory
