Position Summary :
Hire10 is conducting a search for a confidential client, a fast-growing commercial and multifamily real estate developer headquartered in Orlando, FL. Our client is looking for a skilled Chief Investment Officer – CIO (Real Estate Developer) to spearhead efforts in securing and maintaining relationships with investors, private equity firms, banks, and joint venture partners. This critical position is dedicated to expanding the company’s capital network to support both current and future real estate development ventures.
Core Responsibilities :
Investor Sourcing & Capital Development :
- Identify and cultivate relationships with new investment partners, including private equity groups, banks, joint ventures, and private investors.
- Utilize existing industry connections and uncover new capital sources to finance commercial and multifamily real estate projects.
- Foster long-term investor partnerships to strengthen the company’s financial position and ensure sustainable expansion.
Investor Relations & Networking :
- Maintain and grow strong relationships with institutional and private investors.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to attract new investment.
- Develop and deliver presentations on investment opportunities, financial projections, and value propositions tailored to investors.
Deal Structuring & Negotiation :
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to structure investments that align with investor expectations and company objectives.
- Lead negotiations with investors, banks, and joint venture partners to secure optimal financial arrangements and investment terms.
Strategic Collaboration :
- Partner with senior leadership, including development and finance teams, to ensure capital strategies align with company expansion goals.
- Provide strategic insights and market analysis to optimize investor engagement and capital-raising efforts.
Qualifications & Experience :
Experience :
- Demonstrated ability to source and establish investor partnerships within the real estate sector.
- At least 10 years of experience in investor relations, capital sourcing, and deal structuring within commercial or multifamily real estate.
- Extensive network and established relationships with private equity firms, banks, and investors.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively articulate investment opportunities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify new capital sources and structure investment solutions tailored to different investor needs.
Education & Technical Expertise :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
- Proficient in real estate financial modeling and investment analysis tools.
