We are seeking a Junior or Senior Civil Construction Estimator who is detail-oriented, proactive, and driven to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Civil Estimator at D&O Contractors Inc., you will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and contributing to the success of various civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

   •     Review project plans, specifications, and proposals.

   •     Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs to prepare detailed estimates.

   •     Collaborate with project managers, and clients to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

   •     Identify potential risks and opportunities during the estimating process.

   •     Stay updated with industry trends, pricing, and best practices.

   •     Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting Bid deadlines.

Qualifications:

Junior Estimator:

   •     Experience, in Civil (Grading and Paving), Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

   •     1-3 years of experience in estimating or civil construction.

   •     Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

   •     Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

   •     Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Senior Estimator:

   •     5+ years of proven experience in civil estimating, prefered.

   •     Expertise in cost estimating tools and software.

   •     In-depth understanding of civil construction practices, materials, and procedures.

   •     Strong leadership and communication skills.

   •     Ability to mentor junior estimators and lead estimating efforts independently.
