Job Description

Clinical Charge Nurse – Blood Draw (MSK Koch)


Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Blood Draw Charge RN in our Outpatient Ambulatory Services. We’re looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impact in our MSK Outpatient Infusion.


Role Overview:

  • Function in reciprocal Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model.
  • Morning huddle with PCTs and blood draw RNs
  • Create Daily assignments for PCTs and blood draw RNs
  • Plan daily Lunch assignments
  • Sick call staff planning
  • MSK time scheduler for PCTs – will provide training
  • Clinical resource for blood draw
  • Oversee clinical practice in blood draw (PCTs and RNs)
  • Communicate/collaborate with infusion charge RNs, PCTs, care coordinators, patients and caregivers, and 4 Nurse Leaders
  • Round in all blood draw areas in the building throughout the day
  • Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care throughout various stages of Oncology treatment and follow-up.

Key Qualifications:

  • New York State RN license, BSN, BLS
  • 2-3 years of Oncology experience required
  • Chemotherapy certification preferred

Pay Range $119,000- $154,450.00

  • Location: David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care , 530 East 74th , New York, NY 10065

  • Schedule: 10 hour flex 06:30AM-4:30PM OR 8AM-6PM Monday-Friday
