Responsibilities*
The Department of Pathology at Michigan Medicine is seeking a qualified candidate for a Clinical Instructor/Clinical Assistant Professor/Clinical Associate Professor/Clinical Professor position. The educational responsibilities for this new pathologist will be to participate in our teaching programs related to residents and fellows rotating at the Veterans Affairs Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS) and in the Pathology Education Series, as requested. Their primary clinical responsibilities will be performed at the VAAAHS. These will consist of pathology-related diagnostic services including general surgical pathology, cytopathology, telepathology, and clinical pathology. The appointment will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and record of academic achievements.
Required Qualifications*
Doctor of Medicine degree (or equivalent), American Board of Pathology board certified or board eligible in AP/CP, AP or CP. Hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. Successful completion of a surgical pathology and cytopathology fellowships or the equivalent and have a track record of peer-reviewed publications, clinical excellence, and commitment to education is desirable.

Background Screening
