Pay Rate: $109,000–$125,000 annually

Description:
We are seeking a skilled Controller to oversee and manage financial operations at our Catoosa location. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic leader with a strong accounting background to join a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Oversee and ensure all financial statements and reports are prepared in accordance with IFRS.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
- Process Improvement & Management:
- Lead continuous improvements in balance sheet reconciliation, month-end close processes, and accounting workflows, including automation and standardization.
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Shared Services Oversight:
- Oversee shared services functions for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring efficient payment processing and collections.
- Cash Flow Optimization:
- Prepare and analyze weekly cash flow forecasts, monitor liquidity, and recommend strategies for cash flow optimization.
- Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Act as a key liaison with external auditors, coordinating audit filings and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Provide leadership and development to the accounting team, focusing on performance, accuracy, and collaboration.
- Budgeting & Forecasting Support:
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with financial insights and variance analysis.
Competencies:
- Strong understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements, including automation and standardization.
- Effective leadership skills with experience managing accounting teams and fostering professional development.
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities to manage month-end close processes, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proven experience in IFRS and/or US GAAP accounting, shared services management (AP/AR), and cash flow forecasting.
- Experience in manufacturing and corporate reporting preferred.
- Certifications:
- CPA preferred.
- Additional Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, project-driven, or multinational environment is a plus.
