Your New Role
As the Controller, you’ll take ownership of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing administrative team while providing critical financial insights to drive company success.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:


  • Leadership & Development: Guide and mentor a team of exempt and non-exempt staff, foster a culture of growth, and conduct biannual performance reviews.
  • Financial Management: Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements by the 7th of each month, oversee cash flow, and manage accounting processes like A/R, A/P, payroll, and invoicing.
  • Strategic Planning: Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure internal controls are upheld, provide daily management reports, and analyze KPIs to identify trends and variances.
  • Administrative Oversight: Assist in recruiting and training administrative staff while optimizing systems for efficiency.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role with relevant accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Proficient knowledge of GAAP standards and their application in a large trades business
  • Proven ability to manage financial processes and use financial software
  • Must pass a drug test and background check
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated success in financial analysis and performance management
