How you’ll make an impact:
The Coordinator, App Programming will contribute to optimizing the streaming UX, working with various departments to assist with creating, curating, and elevating content in a personalized presentation that enhances the streaming experience, making it as visually compelling as possible. Work with both image assets as well as customer-facing and internal metadata are foundational to this role.
What you’ll do:
- Identify and gather content opportunities from Programming and Marketing and perform necessary production steps for tracking and execution.
- Aide team with metadata application and file management for app images via digital asset management system.
- Execute streaming content promotions in a fast-paced, production driven environment to contribute to a rotating schedule of featured audio and video content inside of sets, content groupings, entity pages, etc. using a CMS.
- Perform QA of all app promotions to ensure quality output of all customer-facing metadata, images, and curation presentations.
- Assist with routing partner assets for approvals and communicating any required edits back to design teams.
- Collaborate with various departments to request art creation and publish images for all app content.
- Liaise directly with the Programming & Marketing teams to assist with tracking critical programming details (broadcast schedules, On Demand availability, content descriptions and segmentation characteristics, etc.).
- Assist in cross-department workflow to track new content through set-up process to ensure proper metadata and assets applied to make eligible for app promotions.
- Shepherd content through a cross-collaborative process to source and publish art including photo sourcing, communicating graphic design guidelines, metadata application and file management for publishing of all app images via digital asset management system.
- Provide support to team with data-entry in Monday.com allowing for nimble retrieval of future & past promotional records.
- Perform regular system & tool QA to ensure optimal performance and help to identify product and tool bugs.
- Assist in admin support of various tasks across a variety of toolsets: DAMS; CMS; Monday.com, etc.
- Support various teams with streamlining promotional information to leverage in support of alignment across channels for top promotional priorities (Push, Newsletter, Billboards, App Store, etc.).
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant experience.
- Experience with metadata and content management systems.
- Knowledge of current digital audio and video media landscape.
- Attentiveness to detail and quality
- Knowledge of basic organizational, descriptive, structural metadata standards and best-practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and computer/technological skills
- Awareness of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) practices
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Thorough knowledge of MS and Google’s Office Suite (Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, etc.)
- CMS and DAMS experience
- Experience working with digital audio and visual files
- Experience with collaboration tools like Slack, Monday.com, etc.
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. We expect the salary range for this position to be between $44,000 and $50,200 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
