COORDINATOR, Broadcast Planning & Distribution (Monetization) – CW Network – Burbank, CA

As we continue to unify under the Nexstar umbrella, the Broadcast Planning & Distribution team plays a vital role in ensuring seamless daily operations. This team is not only responsible for managing broadcast logs but also has the unique opportunity to collaborate with nearly every department across the company.

In this role, you will track broadcast schedules, work closely with the CW Linear Marketing, Corporate Monetization, and Corporate Operations teams, and serve as a key liaison between departments to ensure all materials and broadcast logs are delivered accurately and on time. The Daily:

• Independently gather and processes program timings and resolves any/all timing discrepancies preparing them for broadcast.
• Importing/updating and exporting all promotional materials in our traffic/marketing systems.
• Learning over-all broadcast operations needed for the network.
• Formatting, planning, and preparing 24 hour broadcasts and alt logs for air.
• Keeping on-air calendars coordinating information from multiple departments.
• Assist other members of the department as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Essentials:

• Previous Television/Radio/Advertising Traffic experience preferred
• Ability to work in a deadline driven, highly detailed environment
• Ability to multi-task and meet daily deadlines
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Must be able to work well under pressure
• Must be dependable
• Be a quick learner and self-starter
• Must be able to work in a team setting with a positive attitude
• Must have good attention to detail
• Good problem solving and communication skills
• Must have knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, and English usage.
• Wide Orbit Network knowledge is a plus.

The Compensation:

• $50K – $60K/yr commensurate with experience and skill levels.
• The CW will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.
