  • This position pays between $15.00 – $15.75/hr based on experience

­­­­The Denials Support Specialist provides support for all denial and audit activities across the Mercy Health ministry.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Provides support for all denial and audit activities across the Mercy Health ministry.
  • Processing and preparation of outgoing mail and data entry.
  • Meeting regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience We Love:


  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of denials experience
  • 1+ years of accounts receivable experience

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:


  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience in physician and hospital operations, billing, AR follow-up, denials & appeals, compliance, and provider relations.
  • Minimum Years and Type of Experience: 2 years’ applicable experience strongly preferred




Education Level:
  • High School Diploma or GED/ 2 Year/ Associates Degree
