Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Lifecycle and Customer Journey Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role requires a visionary leader who can optimize our marketing efforts across all customer touchpoints, improve data integrity, and develop a robust content strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data-driven marketing, a strong understanding of customer journey mapping, and the ability to align internal teams and external contractors towards a cohesive brand narrative.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Journey Optimization:
- Develop and implement comprehensive customer journey strategies to enhance engagement across all stages of the funnel, with a focus on increasing customer retention and lifetime value.
- Identify and address gaps in the customer journey, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
Data Management and Segmentation:
- Oversee the cleaning and integrity of our database of 1,000,000 contacts and 33,000 customers, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Define and implement robust data segmentation strategies to enhance personalization and target marketing efforts more effectively.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to establish clear and relevant data fields and ensure consistency across all systems.
Email and CRM Strategy:
- Manage and optimize our existing email CRMs and spearhead the integration of a third email system to enhance our outreach capabilities.
- Design and implement lead scoring methodologies to prioritize leads and optimize conversion rates.
- Develop and execute personalized email campaigns to engage customers and prospects, utilizing advanced segmentation and targeting techniques.
Content and Brand Strategy:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive content plan that aligns with our brand narrative and engages our target audience across various channels.
- Collaborate with creative teams and contractors to produce content that resonates with our audience and supports our marketing objectives.
- Establish a clear and compelling brand narrative that is consistently communicated across all customer touchpoints.
Channel Management and Modalities:
- Expand and enhance our marketing modalities beyond email and phone calls to include social media, content marketing, and other innovative channels.
- Revitalize cold social channels and develop strategies to engage and grow our audience.
- Ensure balanced engagement across all stages of the funnel, addressing over-engagement and neglect where necessary.
Team Alignment and Leadership:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer service, to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts.
- Foster a collaborative environment with internal teams and external contractors to drive marketing success and achieve business objectives.
- Address resistance from managers and stakeholders, advocating for best practices and strategic changes to enhance marketing performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in lifecycle marketing, customer journey mapping, and CRM management.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data segmentation and lead scoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
- Creative and strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in using marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, and data analysis software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
