About the Role & Program

Step into the enchanting world of Disney Programs – home to the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program, and Disney International Program! Meet the Disney Program Experience team – our magic-makers. Their mission is to ensure our participants have a seamless and unforgettable program experience! Ready to embark on this adventure? Head to the Programs Office at Apprentice Hall at Flamingo Crossings Village – your “one-stop shop” for program success. The Cast Members in the Programs Office will be guiding our participants from arrival to program graduation.



The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025.

What You Will Do


As a Program Experience Intern, you will be working in the Disney Programs Office and serve as a first point of contact for our Program participants. This role includes a high level of administrative responsibility such as computer entry, heavy phone volume and in person communication. You will be working with a team of associates to answer participant questions and address concerns regarding all aspects of the program; serve as a Program Advisor; assist in planning and implementing program and learning activities; and serve as a liaison with key program partners.

Required Qualifications & Skills


  • Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license (operating a company vehicle is required for this role).
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable lifting 45 pounds, walking up and down multiple flights of stairs and standing for long periods of time.
  • Strong guest service and conflict resolution skills with the ability to problem-solve.
  • Strong verbal and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to balance multiple projects and priorities.
  • Experience with Disney Internships and Programs.
  • Able to handle confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous operations experience with The Walt Disney Company®.
  • Proven mentor/counseling skills.
  • Experience as Residence Life or as a Resident Assistant in a collegiate environment collaborating with a diverse student population.
  • Involvement working with a diverse student population.
  • Proficiency with programs including DORMS, SAP, Workday, SC Logic, RapID.
  • Bi-lingual with fluency in second language.
  • Previously lived in Flamingo Crossing Village while on a Disney Program.


Education

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:


  • Be a current participant on a Disney College Program OR an alumnus of the Program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information

  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.
  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025.
  • Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
