POSITION OVERVIEW


As a Dispatch Agent at LoadUp, you’ll be a key player in ensuring smooth, timely operations by acting as the primary point of contact for our active Loader teams. In this fast-paced role, you’ll coordinate daily schedules, manage real-time logistics, and ensure exceptional service delivery to our customers. You’ll handle communication with Loaders, internal teams, and external vendors to quickly resolve issues as they arise. When service disruptions occur, you’ll step in to manage customer communication and coordinate backup solutions to keep everything running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys problem-solving on the fly.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the main point of contact for active Loader teams, ensuring clear and timely communication throughout the day.
  • Coordinate daily order schedules to ensure prompt and reliable service for customers.
  • Monitor live jobs and proactively address scheduling conflicts or service disruptions.
  • Communicate with customers when delays or issues occur, providing timely updates and solutions.
  • Make outbound calls to third-party vendors as needed to support logistics and job completion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues and ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Reassign jobs and coordinate backup Loader teams when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of job progress, Loader communication, and resolution steps.
  • Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, customer service, or a fast-paced operational role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
  • Comfortable handling high call volume and multitasking in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient with technology and able to learn new platforms quickly.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and last-minute changes.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem resolution.
