As an Electrical Sales Representative at Dawson’s Electric, your responsibilities will look like this:

  • Sales Expertise: Effectively price and sell a wide range of residential electrical services, including whole home rewires, service upgrades, and panel replacements.

  • Consultative Selling: Engage with customers to diagnose issues with older wiring and provide clear, actionable replacement options tailored to their needs.

  • KPI Management: Understand and leverage key performance indicators (KPIs) for service trucks to ensure high productivity and an outstanding average ticket.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with our skilled installation team to turn sales into successful project executions, ensuring seamless transitions from sales to installation.

  • Customer Focus: Build strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, thorough explanations, and trustworthy advice.

  • Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, electrical codes, and best practices to provide the best solutions to our customers.

  • Proven experience in residential electrical sales, with a deep understanding of pricing, service work, and customer needs.
  • Familiarity with older home wiring systems and the ability to perform diagnostics and recommend replacements.
  • Strong understanding of KPIs and a track record of producing high-average ticket sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
