Equipment Technicians Make It Possible

Equipment Technicians at the NewYork-Presbyterian provide seamless services in transporting equipment throughout Allen Hospital. If you’re ready to play a key role in the care and caring of our patients, explore the following position:

Equipment Technician – Full Time – Days – MSCHONY

Transport supplies and equipment to be used for cleaning from utility/equipment center area to assigned work area, when required, by pushing/pulling carts or carrying items in accordance with established procedures. Prepare Cardiac Arrest carts. Maintain supplies, equipment/ furniture by patient bedside, when required, in an orderly manner. Transports dirty equipment from the unit to specified cleaning area and cleans equipment. Receive deliveries to replenish supplies needed to perform cleaning, repair of equipment, restocking of specialty carts. Maintain written log of supply status.

This shift for this position is 7A-3P, with rotating weekends and holidays

Two Roles available.

Preferred Criteria

• Central Sterile experience

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED
• Computer knowledge

$25.53-$27.73/Hourly
