Job Overview:
We are seeking a Remote Event Coordinator who will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing virtual and in-person events held at Megaron. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and has experience in event management. You will collaborate with artists, speakers, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: Develop event plans and timelines in collaboration with artists, speakers, and internal teams.
  • Coordination: Manage event logistics remotely, ensuring all technical, scheduling, and operational needs are met.
  • Vendor Relations: Liaise with vendors and partners for virtual or hybrid event setups, including streaming platforms and other third-party services.
  • Budgeting: Assist in developing and managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
  • Communications: Act as the main point of contact between Megaron and event stakeholders, including artists, production teams, and sponsors.
  • Promotion Support: Coordinate with the marketing team to promote upcoming events and ensure high attendance.
  • Post-event Reporting: Compile and analyze data on event performance, attendee feedback, and budget adherence.

Skills & Qualifications:


  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of event planning and coordination, preferably in the cultural or entertainment sectors.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with virtual event platforms (Zoom, Webex) and project management tools.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Greek.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and maintain high standards of organization.
  • Problem-Solving: Capable of troubleshooting and resolving event-related issues swiftly.
  • Cultural Awareness: An understanding of cultural events and artistic performance management is preferred.
