Position Overview:
As an Event Sales Manager, you will play a key role in selling and planning events, serving as the vital liaison between clients and our dedicated hotel staff to ensure flawless execution of every event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selling Events: Meet monthly sales quotas and earn quarterly bonuses.
- Client Guidance: Lead clients through their journey of creating memorable experiences with care and attention to detail.
- Sales Administration: Manage sales agreements, ensuring all terms and client expectations are met.
- Event Coordination: Oversee all aspects of food, beverage, and event needs from inception to completion.
- On-Site Event Contact: Be the point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth execution.
- Host Site Inspections: Showcase the venue and its unique offerings to potential clients.
- Menu Tastings: Assist clients in selecting the perfect menu for their event.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skill
• Experience and thorough understanding of guest service
• Previous experience in hotel guest service
• Ability to prioritize and organize work assignment
• Knowledge and experience with Operations systems such as Opera, Colleague Advantage, Medallia, HOTSOS, HySat, etc.
• Flexible schedule and shift pattern based upon hotel business needs – including arrival and departure patterns – which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
• Must be able to support Hyatt’s purpose by identifying opportunities to display authentic human care to guests and colleagues so they can be their best.
