About the Role & Team:

The Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Finance Transformation Department is responsible for managing the P&L for the total company, partnering with Corporate and Segment teams on budget management, and transforming the Finance function. Finance Transformation is a high-profile, cross-functional initiative to define and create the future of Finance at The Walt Disney Company.



We are seeking an exceptional Manager of Finance Transformation to join our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Finance Transformation team. This role will be instrumental to the success of FP&A Transformation initiatives across the company, focused on planning processes, data governance, and a modern technology foundation for Finance.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, dynamic and capable self-starter with a proven track record supporting complex, cross-functional projects. They bring experience in FP&A along with a passion for the process, data and tools that enable a modern Finance organization. Excellent project management, communication and organization are essential to empowering senior Finance leaders and driving successful project outcomes. Experience with process improvement and automation is a plus.



What You Will Do:

  • Partner closely with Segment transformation teams and external consultants to modernize and enhance our capabilities in budgeting, actuals, forecasting, and financial analysis, while realizing significant efficiencies.
  • Provide exceptional project management to drive the development and implementation of comprehensive Finance transformation blueprints in collaboration with Segment transformation teams and external consultants.
  • Ensure successfully delivery against ambitious timelines, maintaining accountability through thoughtful partnership and influence
  • Craft compelling presentations, reports, and other documentation required to communicate the Finance Transformation vision and progress effectively
  • Generate detailed, accurate and insightful quantitative analyses to drive key decisions and the overall Finance Transformation business case.

Required Qualifications & Skills:


  • 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, strategic planning, and/or corporate finance.
  • Experience in entertainment, media, technology, or related fields preferred.
  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence decisions through partnership and collaboration.
  • Create structure and organization, drive projects to completion, and manage priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills coupled with business and financial acumen including strong financial modeling skills
  • Highly proficient at developing presentations and other communication materials for a senior executive audience


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • MBA and/or CPA is preferred


The hiring range for this position in Burbank is $124,900.00-$152,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
