The Club at Spruce Peak is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. The F&B Manager will lead the Front of House team while working collaboratively with the culinary team and other member service departments throughout The Club to deliver excellent service. The Club at Spruce Peak food and beverage operation comprises 3 diverse outlets: The Alpine Clubhouse and The Golf Cottage, both located at Spruce Peak, and Kirkwood’s Pub at Stowe Country Club.



Essential Job Functions:

• R esponsible for the Daily Operation of club F&B Outlets and other activations as applicable.


• Training & Development of line level Colleagues to ensure seamless & luxurious guest service.

• Purchasing, Invoicing and Coding.


• Manages schedule and payroll for employees.

• Communicate information to the service team giving them the knowledge to be individually empowered.


• Ensures a welcoming physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the department, including inspecting tabletops, countertops and side stations through floor presence.

• Supervise the performance, attendance, attitude, appearance and conduct of service team.


• Monitoring and responding to customer experience opportunities in real time.

• Ability to roll out and execute initial trainings as well as continuing education for colleagues.


• Guest Service Recoveries and Communication.

• Coaching in the moment to Service Colleagues for both celebration and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of prior Management experience, required.
  • Flexible schedule to include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Basic administrative skills
