Schedule: Full-Time
Shift: Days; 6 am- 2:30 pm, M-F
Location: 9395 CROWN CREST BLVD, Parker, 80138
The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for the procurement, inventory placement and control of all food, paper and chemical purchases for the Nutrition Services department. Responsible for following Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Safe Handling Guidelines regarding food safety and sanitation.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Maintains adequate supplies of stock by placing orders without exceeding set inventory levels.
- Follows PAR levels and utilizes departmental, hospital and group purchasing contracts to keep supply cost at a minimum whenever possible.
- Keeps department notified of changes in availability of supplies, new or different products, back orders, special problems, discontinued items, packaging or storage changes.
- Informs Executive Chef and/or leadership of opportunities for special pricing, deals, contracts, or other potential cost saving issues.

Required qualifications:
- Organizational

- Read/Comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Keyboarding (manual)
- Computer (visual)
Preferred qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of previous inventory control, purchasing or related experience.
- Previous food service experience.
