We are looking for an experienced GI Medical Biller with expertise in GI billing, pathology, anesthesia, and surgical facility billing for our client, a rapidly growing GI private practice with multiple locations across NYC. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in a private practice setting and a strong understanding of insurance claims, coding, and reimbursement processes. Responsibilities:

Manage the full-cycle billing process for GI procedures, pathology, anesthesia, and surgical facility services.

Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.

Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits before services are rendered.

Review and resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies.

Ensure compliance with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding for gastroenterology services.

Stay updated on payer policies, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance requirements.

Work closely with physicians, office staff, and insurance providers to streamline billing operations.

Experience in a private practice setting is required.

Strong knowledge of GI billing, pathology billing, anesthesia billing, and surgical facility billing.

Proficiency in medical coding and billing software.

Familiarity with insurance guidelines and reimbursement processes.

Ability to troubleshoot claim denials and maximize revenue cycle efficiency.

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Work Location & Schedule:

On-site work in Brooklyn, NY is required(EST time zone).
