Job Summary
The Geriatric Nursing Assistant will be responsible for providing routine nursing and personal care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. This role requires effective collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care and support.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, transferring, and ambulation
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with caregivers to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligibility to enter such a program and graduate within 120 days of employment
