Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


** Starting rate: $21.00 per hour


The Group Reservations Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations involving all clients that have a group block with the hotel. This role also supports all pre-arrival functions for guests of those groups. The Group Reservations Coordinator works closely with Sales & Marketing, Accounting, Conference Services and Meeting Planners to ensure excellent customer service and the highest level of accuracy in bookings. This candidate will manage group reservations and group block inventory.

• Direct communication with clients & attendees when they need assistance with group room reservations, working closely with the Events/Operations teams, entering group room blocks into the system, revenue management, group rooming lists, etc.


• Room blocking per guest requests, upsell strategies, group billing, audits, etc.

• Group reservation setup & changes until arrival


• Review group contract terms

• Assist with attrition management


• Options for upselling or releasing room inventory

• Assist with amendments/addendums.


• Establish initial contact with customer at file turnover

• Maintain relationship & constant communication with clients and guests.


• Room Inventory, including obtaining no-show and wash history.

• Tracking and managing individual call-in groups, and rooming lists including changes.


• Prepare and submit group rooms recap reports, including the tracking/posting of group

comps and rebate/commission calculations.


• Provide occasional support to Area Reservations team across properties as needed.


Qualifications


Qualifications:

• Proficient typing skills.


• Excellent phone & email etiquette.

• Previous customer service experience required.


• Previous Reservations experience preferred.
