The Growth Support Specialist is responsible for collaborating with pursuit leaders, market development teams, and business development professionals to support local market, line of business and industry intentional growth activities.


The Growth Support Specialist is responsible for utilizing firm tools to support growth initiatives, that include but are not limited to intentional growth teams, market-facing sponsorships and events, marketing campaigns, maintenance of customer and prospect data quality, and preparation of brand- and risk-compliant proposals and pursuit deliverables.

With guidance, the Growth Support Specialist demonstrates the ability to manage the needs of their teams and stakeholders with proficient time management, problem-solving and customer service skills.



1.

Coordinates and supports local market, line of business or industry-focused intentional growth strategy.
Supports regular cadence of growth meetings:
• Coordinates growth meeting schedule
• Prepares and distributes agenda and growth documents
• Documents discussion and action items
• Maintains repository of meeting notes and related documents
• Monitor activity and progress with team members between meeting cycles
• Keeps relevant stakeholders apprised of progress
• Provides comprehensive support for the customer relationship management (CRM) platform to monitor pipeline, document relationship activity and track due dates.
• Performs account, data and various other types of research to support pursuit efforts.
• Provides ad hoc support as needed for CRM requests, pipeline reports, and the development and production of presentations and pursuit documents.
• Proactively manages time and executes responsibilities.


2. Works directly with market developer or pursuit leader to support the successful execution of market-facing seminars, conferences, meetings, and networking events.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Planning
• Purchase, coordination and delivery of materials needed on site
• AV setup
• Registrations
• Post-event wrap-up
• Coordinate registration and return on investment with various trade and industry groups and local market or industry sponsorships.
• Keeps abreast of systems, tools, and resources that may be beneficial to pursuit teams such as industry and line of business collateral, white papers, and other thought leadership.
• Reviews charges on firm issued purchasing card for accuracy and reconciles in a timely manner.



3. Serves as primary resource for CRM database support within local market and/or industry.
• Supports and encourages the training and adoption of data tools among industry and local market users.
• Provides assistance capturing account, contact, opportunity and activity data in CRM.
• Provides assistance with ad hoc pipeline, industry or market data reports and dashboard coordination requests for industry or local market users.
• Acquires specialized training and is educated on the proper execution of CRM functions and tasks limited to the growth support team.
• Adheres to firm data integrity policies and procedures.

Reviews pursuit deliverables to monitor brand and risk compliance and adherence to high document quality standards.
• Has the opportunity to complete proposal training to develop the skills necessary to prepare pursuit documents as capacity allows, leveraging existing templates, text and graphics.



5.Regularly engages, participates and contributes to group discussions and activities within their focus area such as industry, line of business or local market growth teams.


6. Collaborates effectively with Growth Support leaders, team members, other ESS subfunctions, and other internal Firm Client Service (FCS) teams to ensure business needs are met.


• Associate’s Degree or 2 years of experience in related field

Technical/Soft Skills



• Demonstrates a working knowledge of tools, resources and technology required with assigned responsibilities
• Some experience with customer relationship management software
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to communicate with a diverse audience both verbally and in writing
• Ability to learn other platforms (i.e.

Microsoft Dynamics)
• Strong grammar and proofreading knowledge
• Effective organization, prioritization and time management skills and attention to detail


Experience

• 1-2 years’ relevant experience in a related field or area
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects of low to moderate risk
• Ability to interact with multiple levels of leadership

• Cultivates a safe environment to ask questions, share innovative ideas and make suggestions;
• Provides relevant and timely performance feedback to others, both positive and constructive
• Provides peer-to-peer collaboration and guidance

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role.

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.



Compensation Range: $44,700 – $71,500
