Join the Lodge at Spruce Peak as our Human Resources Manager – Payroll. This person’s primary role will be payroll preparation, processing, and auditing. They will also administer LOA’s and employee benefits and share other generalist responsibilities, such as data entry, employee relations, and recognition. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and extremely strong computer skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


• Prepare and process payroll in an accurate and timely manner

• Generalist, assist in all areas of HR


• Assist with programs and efforts to maximize positive workplace culture

• Heavy admin, paperwork, data entry, etc.


• Maintain knowledge of current relevant HR regulations.

• This position requires high levels confidentiality, ethics and judgement.


• Stay current on legal, contractual, and Hyatt policy in ensuring compliance

• Identify, assess, and report complex issues and problems to HR Director


• Assist in developing and communicating with department heads to understand complex payroll processing, take responsibility for accurate payroll allocation and reduce error occurrence through training and feedback with the team

• Other duties as necessary

Qualifications

• College degree in Business or a related field and two years of HR/Admin experience or a combination of the equivalent education and experience.


• Experience in Hotels and/or Hospitality preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.


• Computer proficiency; to include but not limited to: Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills, Windows, Employment tracking systems.

• Experience in: E-Verify, EIS, ADP and UKG preferred


• Must be able to work inclusively, but also be able to work independently and without excessive supervision

• Strong oral and written communication skill


• Ability to maintain confidential employee information

• Attention to detail


• Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving abilitie
