Your New Role:
As an HVAC Preconstruction Manager, you will be the backbone of our project planning and execution strategy. Your expertise will ensure that every bid we submit is competitive, reflective of our commitment to quality and efficiency, and aligns with our mission to deliver exceptional mechanical solutions.
Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
- Bid Coordination: You’ll manage all aspects of the estimation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness from bid notification to submission.
- Take-Offs and Budgeting: Perform detailed take-offs and develop budgets that match project specifications seamlessly.
- Customer RFQ Responses: Respond to customer RFQs with competitive estimates that showcase our value and capabilities.
- Documentation Management: Keep meticulous records of estimates and related documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible for reference.
- Collaboration: You’ll work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather all necessary data for accurate estimates.
- Industry Engagement: Stay updated on industry trends and pricing to keep our estimating strategies sharp and competitive.

- Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the HVAC industry.
- Educational Background: A relevant degree or certification in HVAC or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Experience with HVAC design and estimating abilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and understanding construction blueprints, systems, and documents.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for performing accurate take-offs and budget assessments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant estimating software and tools.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in analyzing project requirements and creating accurate estimates.
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
