Industrial Painter/ Blaster
Pay: $19/hr.
Hours: Day & Night Shift
Job type: Temp to Hire
Location: Catoosa, Oklahoma
Join our team as an Industrial Painter, responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing metal surfaces with precision and care.
What you’ll be doing:
- Read work orders and follow instructions for painting tasks.
- Prepare and mix paints to match specified colors and clean surfaces before painting.
- Apply masking tape and drop cloths to protect non-painted areas.
- Operate spray guns to apply various coatings such as enamel, epoxy, and lacquer.
- Load and move materials using forklifts and cranes, and maintain production records.
- Perform abrasive blasting to prepare surfaces, ensuring parts meet specifications.
- Assist in basic paint application and work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
- Use and interpret DFT measuring equipment for quality control.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Must pass Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and be able to wear a respirator.
- Physically active, able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
