A local company specializing in regulatory systems is seeking to hire a Label Machine Operator in the Lakeland, FL area. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and functionality of RFID label inlays. Your role will involve reviewing, editing, and managing RFID label inlay processes to meet regulatory standards and operational requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Review and adjust RFID label inlays to ensure they meet compliance and functional standards
• Initiate new production jobs and input roll details into the system
• Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of equipment as directed
• Calibrate applicators to align with specified software settings
• Re-web the machine with RFID label inlays for new production runs
• Select and adjust sensor settings based on the type of RFID label inlay
• Operate the machine to verify proper application of inlays on the web, making adjustments as needed:
  • Modify lay settings through machine controls
  • Adjust distance settings using software
  • Regulate rewind tension at the applicator unit
  
  
• Clean RFID inlay editors to maintain equipment cleanliness
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet compliance and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with shift and department personnel to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Execute production orders according to product specifications and established practices

Who We’re Looking For

• Mechanical background with hands-on experience in operating and maintaining machinery required
• Proven experience in a warehouse environment required
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues effectively
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn new skills and contribute to the team’s success
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain clear records
• Ability to read, comprehend, and accurately follow written and oral instructions
• Meet and exceed required performance metrics daily
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using computers and familiar with Microsoft Office and various Internet browsers
• Ability to stand/sit for several hours at a time
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent

What You Can Expect

• $17.00 – $17.50/hr, depending on experience
• Schedule of Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 4:30pm
