Kaizen Technician

This position requires previous experience in the Kaizen, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes. Must have a clear understanding of the TPS philosophy and problem solving techniques.

Can demonstrate understanding of Standard Work, kanban and 5S.

This person must be a team player and a goal oriented achiever capable of assisting in a fast paced, work environment. Experience and accuracy with precision measuring instruments is a must.

Qualified applicants will have good communications skills (both written and verbal) and effective interpersonal skills. This person must have a basic mathematical aptitude.

Computer experience, specifically: Office 2010 software (Excel, Word, etc.) would be a plus. Fabrication and hand tool experience highly desired.

This person must be able to work with a minimum of direct supervision. Successful candidates must be willing and able to work overtime, including weekends with minimum notice and flexible hours.
