Laborer WSOP – Facilities & Engineering – Temporary (Paris LV)

Responsible for supervising the labor crew and assuring duties are performed according to instructions. Serves as a working foreman. Gives general assistance to all crafts of the engineering department performing varied janitorial duties and maintaining cleanliness, Position requires extensive physical exertion to include standing, walking, bending, heavy lifting, carrying, as well as professional skills ( at least one year’s experience as a laborer) needed to perform the laborer foreman function.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION/DUTIES

1. Supervising all laborers – standing, walking, observing, hearing. Cleaning of equipment rooms, electrical vaults, etc. Cleaning of roofs and drains.

2. Submitting a daily attendance record – reading, writing, remembering names and attendance procedures.

3. Has the authority to issue appropriate personnel action, and assists the different crafts by holding materials in place.

4. Assigned work loads and assuring assignments are performed – attention to detail, organization skills.

5. Serving as a working foreman and performing all duties of a laborer – includes physical exertion of lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and walking.

6. Gathering tools or materials for a craftsman and placing in area after different crafts are finished with their duties – requires knowledge of materials needed for each craft.
