Lead Dishwasher – Full Time, Overnights

Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen area and ensures productivity level supports the operational needs.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous restaurant/steward experience required.

Must possess basic reading skills and be able to identify caution and warning labels, signage and stickers.

Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be a team player.

Essential Job Functions:

In the absence of the Executive Steward, monitors stewarding responsibilities to ensure all tasks and assignments are completed timely and thoroughly.

Assists with daily inventory.

Administers breaks in a timely manner.

Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests.

Washes dishware, utensils, pots and pans and puts them away to maintain the required levels of supplies in the dining room.

Maintains a constant flow of soiled dishes from the server stations to the Main Kitchen.

Completes closing checklist in a timely manner.

Ensures cooking line is free of debris throughout shift.

Empties trash cans and replaces with new liners.

Transports trash to dumpster and operates cardboard compressor.

Adheres to all internal controls, policies, standards and procedures.

Understands performance expectations.

Any and all other job duties as assigned

Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:

Must be able to work independently.

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, minimum 4 – 6 hours.

Responds to visual and aural cues.

Must be able to stoop, bend, as well as maneuver through all areas of the dining room and property.

Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.

Must have the manual dexterity to grab, grip, push, pull, hold, lift, tear, sort, and reach.

Must be able to tolerate areas containing extreme temperatures such as heat and humidity, second hand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.

Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends.
