The Lease Operator 2, working under general supervision, is responsible for conducting operational assessments of assigned wells, equipments, and plant facilities and ensure submissions of daily assessment reports on well production, equipment performance, and other maintenance activities. The role executes production tests, monitors progress of minor subsurface well maintenance limited to non-BOPE jobs, and ensures maintenance of all Company equipment. The role reviews operating parameters recorded into systems if Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) is unavailable, coordinates with Engineer, Optimization Operator 2 & DSC/PA concerning wells and lease activities, demonstrates proficiency in ProdView, Eagle App, Cygnet, and Pi, and maintains regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance. The role works under supervision to assist in moderately complex oversight operational tasks at lease sites, including developing and implementing SOPs, prioritizing projects, and making recommendations for optimization of lease site operations.


• Conducts operational assessments of assigned wells, equipments, and plant facilities and ensures submission of daily assessment reports on well production, equipment performance, and other maintenance activities.
• Executes production tests, performs minor repairs, and ensures general upkeep (fences, signs, weeds, trash) and maintenance of organized work environment at lease sites.
• Performs regular monitoring of control panels, gauges, and meters to ensure proper equipment functioning and leads setup and installation of new equipments as required.
• Maintains positive relationship with local, state, federal representatives, contractors, and surface owners and provides field wide contact with all personnel in the event of emergency or other significant occurrences.
• Ensures maintenance of all Company equipment, including but not limited to computers, vehicles, and analysis or test equipment and represents the company in delivery/receipt of materials and equipment.
• Monitors progress of minor subsurface well maintenance limited to non-BOPE jobs (i.e. swab, slickline, plunger maintenance, hot oil/water, regulatory, routine testing, batch/chemical/scale jobs, long stroke/respace, cap string inspection, fluid levels, dynamometer) and coordinates with Engineer, Optimization Operator & DSC/PA concerning wells and lease activities with an intent to gain a better understanding of operations.
• Maintains regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance in conjunction with and through close coordination with the Operations Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen, and Environmental Health and Safety Department, actively participates in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in lease site operations, reports incidents, accidents, or near misses promptly to supervisors and participates in incident investigations.
• Reviews operating parameters recorded into systems if Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) is unavailable, develops understanding of operational issues at lease sites, and collaborate with maintenance teams to implement timely and effective solutions.
• Works under supervision to assist in moderately complex oversight operational tasks at lease sites, including developing and implementing SOPs, demonstrating proficiency in ProdView, Eagle app, Cygnet and Pi, prioritizing projects, demonstrating strong understanding of importance of safety and regulatory compliance (especially around emissions and spills), and making recommendations for optimization of lease site operations.
• Recognizes, analyzes, and resolves complex problems at lease sites, taking corrective action in emergency and non-emergency situations, contributing to operational efficiency and safety.



Education:
• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) is required.

Experience:
• 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in E&P Operations specializing in areas such as Lease Site Management, Equipment Maintenance, and Pipeline Operations or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
