LEGOLAND California Model Cleaner

WORKING HOURS: 

6AM – 2:30PM (Full Time, Open Availability)

Scope and Responsibilities:

• Washes models to include Miniland, Park wide and off-site models, washes props, roads, floors, and all related facilities walkways and landscaping and equipment where required.
• Utilizes Media Blast equipment to clean models or other materials as deemed necessary
• Uses dry and liquid detergents, waxes and chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing.
• Moves trash & cardboard to transfer station. Moves LEGO to recycle station and segregates.
• Follows the LEGOLAND established MC policies at all times.
• Keep tools, machines, and all other company equipment in clean and good working order.
• Keep safety as #1 priority.
• Notifies Model Shop leadership of any wash-down problems for corrective action.
• Liaison with fellow MCs and other departments
• Performs related work as deemed necessary or required.
• Attends staff meetings for the purpose of directing, informing, training and motivating employees.
• Assists with LEGO brick stocking and inventory from time to time.
• Assists with transportation and packing
• Sorts and segregates LEGO bricks.
• Requires good verbal and written skills.
• Keeps track of when things need to be ordered

Background and Experience:

• Requires the ability to effectively follow directions, and observe and remember details.
• Ability to understand and follow directions in the English language.
• Requires the ability to maintain a friendly, polite, service oriented demeanor.
• Effective decision-making skills are required.

Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (or equivalent education and experience) is required.

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to work flexible hours to support park operations.
• Must have valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Must be able to use a computer for email and other written communications
• Must be able to speak and write in the English language
• Position requires a pre-placement physical.
