Live Vendor Event Sales For Handmade Products
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Local Vendor Event Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in displaying and selling products, processing sales transactions, and be able to pass in person and online training to understand our company, products and values. The candidate must be available to work on weekends, and evenings and have a car large enough to transport products and displays.
Responsibilities:
– Set up and take down product displays at local events on weekends
– Engage with customers and provide excellent customer service
– Educate customers about the benefits and features of our handmade soap and other handmade skin products
– Process sales transactions accurately using a POS system, cash and credit cards
– Keep track of inventory and restock as needed
– Maintain a clean and organized sales area
– Represent the company in a professional and positive manner
Requirements:
– Prior experience in displaying and selling products
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Familiarity with handheld POS systems, handling cash and processing credit cards
– Pass our online and in-person training sessions.
– Must have a car large enough to transport products and displays
– Must be available to work on weekends and evenings.
– Be willing to drive within a 2 hours radius to events.
– Must pass drug and background screen.
Physical Requirements:
– Ability to lift and move displays and products up to 50 pounds.
– Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
This is a part-time position and compensation will be based on experience.
