The Maintenance Engineer will have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with PLCs in a manufacturing setting, and be responsible for:

• Testing and troubleshooting issues to identify root cause
• Designing and building new systems using existing software or creating new software
• Performing regular maintenance on systems, such as updating software and backing up data
• Conducting initial setup of equipment and machinery, including wiring diagrams and control system diagrams
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing control systems on production lines for process flow, networks and heating and cooling
• Installing and maintaining electrical components such as motors, switches, relays, and transformers

The ideal Maintenance Engineer for this role will be well versed in the following:

• Brazing & soldering
• Motors, pumps, sheaves, and belts

• Packaging and manufacturing machine repair and maintenance
• Proper preventative maintenance techniques
• PLC diagnostics and calibration
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Honeywell, and Omron

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar preferred.
